Today's Tip:  Believe, Part II

couple extra people.  We're not naive enough to think that our site gets visited each and
every day, you know.  But don't put it past us to continue on the believe tip with a follow
up.

Okay, take a deep breath.  This is probably the most frequently forgotten of all budget tips.
When you are setting up a budget in 2008, you should include a line item for charitable
giving.  If you belong to a church, you should tithe.  If you believe in a cause (for example,
if a loved one died of breast cancer), you should donate to that cause.  Homelessness
affects millions of Americans.  And no, they aren't choosing to be homeless.  If you work
for an employer, in most cases they will match your contributions up to a certain dollar
amount.  Or once you cross the $25 or $50 threshold, they will match your donation up to
say, $1,000.

Regardless of what you do to give back, why would you not account for this in your
monthly budget?
